Roll and write revolution

Standing Stones was the first in a new series of monthly Print and Play (PNP) roll and write games called the Roll and Write Revolution. “Roll and write” means that your game components and setup are minimal. “PNP” means that you will receive the PDF files for this game immediately after the campaign ends so you can start playing right away!

Benny and I have a passion for gaming and would love to publish these games in a format that is both fulfilling and inexpensive. As such, we realized that offering the files for players to Print and Play (PNP) at home was a perfect way to go! In fact, you don’t even need a home printer. Since you’ll have the PDFs, you can print at work, at a local print shop, or (like I often do) play straight on your iPad, Surface, or other tablet device.

This unusual format (PNP) allows us:

  •     To offer a low entry point into fun games produced on a regular, frequent basis with no extra shipping costs or delays.
  •      The freedom to design wild, wacky, and wonderful ideas regardless of typical commercial viability.
  •      The opportunity to connect creative creators and makers with a passionate community united by similar interests.
  •  Honest and responsive communication.
  • Delivery immediately following the close of the campaign.
  • A referral to at least one indie-maker in our community.
  • More projects just like this every month.
  • And we’d love to work with you designers out there! If you have a roll and write style game and want to talk about joining the program, please send us an email at rollandwriterevolution@gmail.com

Fun, original games at a great price, and lessons for designers on what not to do.
